Building services provider J S Wright has unveiled its new maintenance and facilities management division and has hired the Marquess of Northampton's former M&E man to lead it.
Jack Coulter's experience includes working for the nobleman, the Marquess of Northampton on his Grade-1-listed private estate, but Coulter has now been appointed by JS Wright to lead an engineering team that offers commercial and residential customers installation, servicing and repair services.
The new division offers an end-to-end service which includes designing and installing services, undertaking warranty work, commercial and industrial gas pipe work testing and purging, domestic and commercial boiler and plant maintenance, commissioning and ongoing support.
Coulter said “I am looking forward to helping customers extend the life of their buildings, plant and equipment by taking advantage of the faster fault identification and response times of our experienced in-house engineers, instead of having to turn to sub-contractors as in the past'.
He added 'Our expert team may even have been involved in installing the building systems and so will have input from the designers and the original design drawings held on file.”
Coulter is based at the company’s offices in Birmingham, the city where he began his career as an apprentice. Coulter's experience also includes working as the building and mechanical services manager for Solihull Metropolitan Council’s housing department.
J S Wright specialises in providing mechanical services for the hotel, leisure, commercial, student accommodation and residential markets.
