Mechanical and electrical building services provider JS Wright has boosted its project management team after appointing Matthew Brough as a mechanical project manager.

Matthew Brough has been appointed mechanical project manager at JS Wright

Based at the company’s Birmingham headquarters, the former apprentice who lives in Stoke-on-Trent has almost 25 years of experience in building services engineering, having previously been a senior project manager and engineer for another Midlands-based M&E contractor.

Prior to that, Matthew was a senior mechanical engineer and natural gas manager for an engineering services company, where he helped deliver contracts for the Shetland Gas Plant and the Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre near Loughborough.

Matthew is currently working on a £17 million contract to provide the mechanical and electrical services to the first phase of The Silk District residential project at Whitechapel in east London.

Phil Leech, managing director of J S Wright, said: “Matthew’s extensive skills and vast experience will help us continue to meet an ever-increasing demand for our mechanical and electrical services from leading UK developers.”
