J S Wright has won a contract worth around £3.4m in one of London's biggest regeneration schemes.
Galliford Try Partnerships has commissioned the company to install a range of mechanical services for a new health and social care centre and 170 mixed-tenure apartments in White City.
Work on the scheme starts this month, with completion scheduled for December 2013.
J S Wright will install a chilled and low pressure hot water distribution system from a dedicated plant room to four-pipe fan coil units, to enable different areas of the two-storey health centre to be heated or cooled at the same time.
The company will also fit radiant heaters, over-door heaters, boosted cold water services and above-ground drainage for the centre, which will provide accommodation for GPs, walk-in clinics and other community services.
In addition, it will install a central boiler house generating combined heat and power, along with associated heat interface units, LPHW heating and domestic water services to 170 apartments built over six floors.
The new residential accommodation will also benefit from whole house extract ventilation, car park and smoke ventilation and above-ground drainage.
J S Wright is an established partner of Galliford Try Partnerships having worked with the developer on a number of affordable housing schemes in London, including Watermill Lane in Enfield, Elmgrove House in Plumstead and Bow Common Lane.
