The company will provide VRF (variable refrigerant flow) comfort cooling that matches the volume of refrigerant required for cooling, along with mechanical ventilation, domestic hot and cold water services, and drainage.

It will also install a gas-fired CHP (combined heat and power) system as part of the hot water supply plant and for heat recovery from the main ventilation plant for the hotel, which will open its doors in summer 2013.

All the services are designed to meet the size constraints of a conservation area, which involves making use of limited space for housing plant and distributing services.

J S Wright will spend six months from February 2013 working on site on the company's second Premier Inn hotel project. It completed a 158-room Premier Inn in Greenwich for Galliard Homes in 2010.

It will also be J S Wright's second project for A&H Construction after installing the services for the new 150-bed Drayton Manor Theme Park Hotel in Tamworth last year.
