Industry hotfoots it to Mostra Convegna

MILAN'S Mostra Convegna Expocomfort exhibition opened its doors this week to showcase HVAC products from around the world until March 15.
For the 36th time, this bienniel exhibition, which began on Tuesday, March 11, is playing host to an influx of exhibitors and visitors from around the globe.

The 2008 exhibition is being hosted in the the new Fiera Milano Exhibition centre in Rho.

Organized by Fiera Milano International, it will show the new trends in four main sectors:
1) Heat (energy efficiency, low consumption technology, comfort, management of climate system).
2)Energy (energy saving,renewable energy, new technological solutions).
3)Cold (air conditioning,ventilation, commercial and industrial refrigeration).
4) Water (plumbing technology, water treatment).

The previous Mostra Convegna exhibition achieved a turnout of 170,000 trade visitors from 134 countries and 2,750 exhibiting organisations.

The show's Comfort & Design Award, set up by Fiera Milano International will be given to one of the event exhibitors.

For HVAC professionals the five-day event's calender of technical seminars tackles subjects such as: 'Strengths and weaknesses of energy from biomass' on March 12.
