Ideal Boilers receives third time recognition from Good Housekeeping

Ideal Boilers’ Logic, Logic+ and Vogue ranges have received the Good Housekeeping Reader Recommended status for the third time.

The Hull-based boiler manufacturer with over 100 years of manufacturing experience also held the status in 2013 and 2017, joining the likes of prestigious manufacturers Philips and Garmin.

Good Housekeeping boasts an impressive readership of 1.5 million consumers in the UK. Its renowned Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) is dedicated to testing products across a multitude of industries and offering recommendations to its readership.

The Reader Recommended endorsement is awarded as a result of rigorous peer-to-peer testing combined with GHI expertise. Products are tested as part of an independent study involving 17,000 members of the public in their own home, providing extensive feedback which is then analysed before the endorsement is received.

Reviewers are asked to comment on four main areas: ease of use, performance/effectiveness, overall acceptability and, finally, likelihood to purchase and recommend the product.

  • 98 percent feel that the boiler provides sufficient hot water, based on their family size
  • 95 percent of testers rated their boiler as being very good or excellent
  • 89 percent felt the controls on the boiler are easy to use
  • 85 percent of consumers feel their Ideal boiler is quiet in use

Ideal Boiler’s head of marketing, Carrie Young said: “The Reader Recommended status is a testament to the product’s reliability and overall quality. We’re thrilled to receive the status for the third time.”
