Ideal Boilers range awarded Quiet Mark

Ideal Boilers’ flagship Logic+ range has been recognised alongside 70 leading global brands with a Quiet Mark award from the Noise Abatement Society.

Ideal Boilers’ flagship Logic+ range has been recognised alongside 70 leading global brands with a Quiet Mark award from the Noise Abatement Society.

Ideal is only the second UK boiler manufacturer to receive the honour.

The Quiet Mark is an internationally approved award that encourages companies worldwide to prioritise noise reduction within the design of everyday machines and appliances, and find solutions to noise problems.

Ideal’s head of marketing, Carrie Young, said: “We are thrilled to receive this award and to take our place alongside some of the world’s top brands.

“Our technical teams work tirelessly to produce market-leading products that deliver for installers and homeowners. Various components, from the fan to the burner, as well as settings such as the flow rate, affect noise levels. During the design process, using our own sound room, we worked hard to get the noise levels as low as possible.”

Poppy Szkiler, MD and founder of Quiet Mark, added: “We welcome Ideal Boilers to the ever growing list of global manufacturers that are responsibly prioritising investment in acoustic engineering to create quieter technology, as recognised by the Quiet Mark award.

“Boilers are vital home engines, we live with their sound close to us every day. We can now choose next generation quieter high performance boilers that minimise the unnecessary intrusion of noise. Each step we take to reduce noise from the technology that surrounds us helps our homes become the peaceful sanctuaries we long for, while supporting our health and wellbeing.”
