HVR AWARDS 2024 – ONE WEEK TO GO

The countdown is on for the HVR Awards 2024! Judging and voting have concluded, and now all that remains is for you to book your tickets for the big reveal at the event on September 12.

The HVR Awards are on September 12 at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London

Returning to the Chelsea Harbour Hotel once again, this year the HVR Awards celebrates its 15th anniversary with a special after party to mark the occasion.

Organised by Datateam Business Media, the event will celebrate the best of the best across the HVAC industry. Hundreds of industry professionals will attend what promises to be a bumper event with more categories and a record number of finalists.

Following a rigorous decision-making process, the finalists have been revealed, made up of the sector’s leading companies, products and professionals.

In five categories including the Training Provider of the year, the Wholesalers/Distributor of the Year, the HVAC Woman of the Year, and the Rising Star and the Diversity & Inclusion Award, results have been decided in a popular online voting poll.

For the remaining categories, the task of deliberating over each entry was placed in the hands of an expert panel of judges including Martyn Cooper of FETA, Steve McConnell of ICOM, head of BESA’s RACHP group Richard Merritt, industry consultant Sue Sharp and building services engineer Anni Folan-White.

Guests at the HVR Awards 2024 will be able to network with peers during the exclusive drinks reception and will have the chance to enjoy a delicious three-course dinner and wine, before the awards ceremony begins.

With the event just around the corner, limited tickets are still available. To secure your place at the event, head to the website at https://hvrawards.com/book-tickets/

Sponsors so far include headline sponsor NAADUK, efam air, Halo HVAC, NAADUK Training Academy & Smith Brothers Stores. There are still some opportunities to get involved as a sponsor so why not get involved by contacting James Marshall-Loughran at jmarshall-loughran@datateam.co.uk

OUR HOSTS FOR THE NIGHT

This year the HVR Awards will be hosted by English actor Shaun Williamson. Shaun is best known for his decade-long portrayal of Barry Evans in EastEnders but has also since starred alongside Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant in Extras (2005) and Life's Too Short (2011). He is a skilled and versatile all-rounder, performs in cabaret and offers a peek inside EastEnders’ Albert Square, as well as fronting his own 10-piece soul band.

Behind the scenes, Shaun will be ably assisted by Harvey Cook, whose distinctive voice has become familiar to millions of radio listeners as a newsreader on BBC Radio 2 and 6Music. This includes featuring regularly on the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show. During more than 25 years on-air, he has also presented news programmes on Radio 5Live and was nominated for the Radio Times’ Britain’s Favourite Radio Voice.

Harvey is also an established voiceover – featuring on countless commercials for national brands.
