The winners of the 2013 HVR Awards for Excellence were revealed last night at a glittering gala event held at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London.
Lead sponsors of the event were the B&ES, Marflow Hydronic Systems and Stokvis Energy Systems.
Well known industry names competed against smaller companies for the prestige of winning an award in their sector. An independent panel of judges representing key industry organisations nominated the winners. Judges were Bob Towse of B&ES, Mike Smith of BSRIA and Mike Duggan of FETA.
Winner of the Commercial Ventilation Product award was S&P for the TD Silent EcoWatt. The award for the Commercial Heating Product went to MHG Heating for the ThermSelect. Meanwhile, Klima-Therm won the top award in the Air Conditioning Product category for its EXP air conditioning system.
Viessmann was a double winner taking the award for Sustainable Product for its Vitocal 242-S Split Heat Pump, as well as the Sustainable Project award for the Mayville Community Centre project.
Stephen Gill Associates was named Consultant of the year and the Contractor of the year prize was awarded to A1 Flue Systems.
