The HVCA's newest revision of the Toolbox Talks series is now available.
Presented in bite-sized chunks, the booklet is designed to allow employers to deliver improved on-site health and safety talks covering the most basic health and safety points, which can be taught without any specialist knowledge in just fifteen minutes per section.
Bob Towse, head of HVCA's health and safety, said: 'These talks are designed to be punchy and concise and ideally, delivered monthly or quarterly. As sections of the Toolbox Talks comply with the Heath and Safety in the Workplace Act, this is an easy way to help employers with their legal obligation to health and safety. A few minutes spent learning how to avoid accidents is time well spent. To help those who have never presented a training event before, we also run a half-day course called 'Toolbox Talks - Instructional Techniques'.'
