HRP and Mueller Industries Inc have agreed a deal through which HRP will market Mueller's range of copper tubes and fittings to the refrigeration, air conditioning and heating markets in the UK.
All products will be stocked and distributed through HRP's national network and first deliveries to stock are now taking place.

Mueller, the manufacturer of tubes, fittings, valves and other components, has recently invested £2m in its UK plant at Bilston to produce specialist tube for refrigeration and air conditioning. The facility also manufactures Wednesbury Streamline copper tube and is a major distribution centre for other products.

Mandy Pilgrim, HRP group managing director, said that the deal enables the company to significantly increase its offering to the UK refrigeration and air conditioning markets: 'We were attracted by the substantial expertise of Mueller in producing specialist products for CO2, hydrocarbons and other potential new refrigerants.'
