Hitachi Europe expands UK direct sales with Samurai chillers

Hitachi Europe has expanded its UK direct sales operation to include the Samurai range of chillers.
Martin Richards, UK and Ireland manager, said: 'Direct chiller sales has been part of our growth plan for this financial year and we are excited this has come to fruition as early as Q1 and, more importantly, to coincide with the exciting launch of Hitachi's new, powerful AG2 model.'

The latest Samurai AG2 chiller unit has improved DC inverter fans for low noise levels (with a further 4dB (A) reduction on the 'super low noise' model). The AG2 offers reliability with Hitachi's twin screw compressors, which also enables precise control of the outlet water temperature to within +/-0.5°C, independent of cooling load.

The new chiller is smaller than previous units, for high cooling capacity in less space, and features improvements to make servicing and maintenance easier.

The Samurai chiller range offers cooling only units from 110-1030kW - available with heat recovery option, and heat pump models from 120-600kW.

Hitachi also offers training in the installation and use of chillers at its Aircademy centre in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
