Hilson Moran, an international engineering consultancy, has made two key appointments in its Manchester office.
Mark Skinner has been made head of the firm's new security consultancy group and Mark Stott has been made facilities management (FM) group manager for the North.
Mr Skinner joins Hilson Moran from AECOM where, for the last four years, he was a senior member of the advanced security team and played a critical role in designing and implementing building security systems for the BBC when it relocated to Manchester. He will head up the security consultancy group launched in June and lead the strategy and design of electronic and physical security systems, including site implementation and handover processes, both in the UK and internationally.
Mr Stott will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Northern region engineering facilities team. He has worked in facilities management for more than 10 years and has over 25 years' experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance. He has worked in both the private and public sector, including providing m&e maintenance on a number of high profile schemes, such as City Hall, Manchester Airport and the Natural History Museum.
He was previously at UK FM firm EIC as engineered facilities management (EFM) regional manager for the North.
