HETAS registrants can benefit from second endorsement

Heating and plumbing professionals with a HETAS accreditation now have the chance to gain a second endorsement from Which? Trusted Traders.

Earlier this year, HETAS, the official body for approving heating appliances, fuels and services, established a partnership with Which? Trusted Traders to give HETAS registered installers the benefit of dual endorsement. A number of businesses have already taken advantage of the partnership since it was announced in May. Now, the organisation has arranged a special offer which gives those that are yet to sign up 50% off their first year.

The collaboration highlights the aim to bring vetted and reputable traders in the biomass and solid fuel heating industry to consumers.

The dual endorsement gives traders a point of difference within their industry and shows customers they have selected a trader they can rely on. Registrants who choose to sign up to the scheme this autumn will benefit from an assessment by Which? Trusted Traders and will also gain a company profile on whichtraders.co.uk designed to enhance the opportunity for online enquiries, as well as having access to their dedicated trader support team.Registrants are also able to use the recognised and respected ‘Which? Trusted Traders’ logo on their vehicles, websites and business cards.

HETAS ceo Bruce Allen said: “The partnership with Which? Trusted Traders made complete business sense for us as we are committed to achieving industry best practice for our registrants, and most importantly customers. We have already received a lot of positive feedback from our installers and retailers who have recognised a boost to customer confidence. This latest offer is a great opportunity for our installers and retailers who want to give their business the edge in a competitive market and save money.”

Managing director of Which? Trusted Traders, Stephen McCluskey, said: “All consumers are likely to need the services of a trader at some point in their lives but many feel nervous about hiring a stranger and worry they will be ripped off. By choosing a firm endorsed by Which? Trusted Traders, consumers can be confident in the service they’ll receive.”
