HETAS makes two appointments

HETAS has appointed Robert Burke as its new technical director.
HETAS makes two appointments
Mr Burke has previously worked at HETAS and has a background in the domestic and commercial solid fuel and biomass industry. In his new role he will represent HETAS at national and European level on various technical committees, setting standards for solid fuel and biomass installations.

Separately, Jo Courtney-Wiggins has joined HETAS as registration manager. She has previously worked for a manufacturer of heating solutions and will be responsible for the HETAS competent persons scheme, which operates in England and Wales. In addition, she will work on the development of the HETAS Microgeneration Certification Scheme for Installers.
