HETAS introduces technical helpline

HETAS has launched a helpline service designed to provide support and advice for the solid fuel and biomass heating sector.

Mike Harvey will manage the initiative and joins HETAS as installer support services manager.

His background is in the heating industry and he has previously worked as an installer and then a college lecturer.

HETAS technical officer, Alan Young, will also be dealing with enquiries from the new helpline.

HETAS is the only competent persons scheme dedicated to the solid fuel and biomass industry and its helpline will offer support on regulations, standards, efficiencies, approved products and more. It will be open from Monday to Thursday from 8.30am - 5.00pm, and on Fridays from 8.30am - 4.30pm on 01242 681909.
