Hargreaves unveils new design centre

Hargreaves, the air movement and ventilation ductwork specialist, has invested in a new design centre that will enable it to offer its customers a full turnkey HVAC solution.

Located at the company’s Bury headquarters, the new design centre will offer design services covering the whole project lifecycle; from feasibility studies, concept design and development of computer-based flow models, to manufacture, installation and a complete commissioning service.

Martin Crouch has been appointed to head up the design centre, joining the company with 35 years’ experience in ducting development and design. His role will focus on technical business development and providing strategic support, particularly within the nuclear sector.

Hargreaves’ in-house design capabilities will provide a full turnkey HVAC solution with a fully-integrated design and build capability that will enable the company to tailor its service to meet customers’ bespoke specifications. Hargreaves is committed to delivering the highest quality standards, underpinned by its ISO 9001 design accreditation.

Managing director of Hargreaves, Tim Hopkinson, said: “This is an exciting time for Hargreaves. Our new design capability demonstrates our commitment to staying ahead of the marketplace in terms of design expertise and our tailored approach to working with customers on the specific needs of each project.”

He added: “Our investment in the Design Centre and Martin’s appointment form the final pieces in the jigsaw for our full HVAC turnkey solution, reinforcing our reputation in the industry and opening up new markets for us.”
