Hamworthy Heating has named Russ Walliss as the new area sales manager for Central Southern England.
He takes over from Larry Curtis who recently retired after 39 years with the Hamworthy team.
Russ is moving from his previous role after five years as service and spares manager at Hamworthy Heating to further his career. This new challenge will make use of the knowledge and familiarity he already has of the Hamworthy product range.
With more than 30 years’ experience of the industry, Russ started his career as an apprentice with British Gas. Prior to Hamworthy Heating he managed aspects of some significant construction sites, such as The Athlete’s Village at Stratford, The Bull Ring, Honda Swindon & Maclaren F1.
Looking after the southern central region of England including Hampshire and Dorset, Russ will be helping customers to specify the right boilers or water heaters for the application. He will also be carrying out site surveys to review current equipment in a plant room and is the main contact for new product sales in his region.
