Building services consultancy, Henderson Green, is celebrating a successful first year for its Guernsey office.
The company already had successful practices in Southampton and Jersey, when it opened its Guernsey office last year, led by partner, Richard Spinney.
Since its launch, the Guernsey operation has won substantial commissions and turnover has exceeded expectations. It has also taken on the island's first ever building services consultant apprentice, Alex Cramphorn, who has joined Mr Spinney and mechanical engineer James Glanville, as junior mechanical engineer.
Projects undertaken by Henderson Green Guernsey include the design of two extra care housing schemes for Guernsey Housing Association valued at £35M; energy work for Jersey Property Holdings, in collaboration with the other Henderson Green practices, which covered the majority of the public estate portfolio in Jersey.
In addition, the company has undertaken a central boiler house replacement feasibility study and design for Princess Elizabeth Hospital and has almost completed an energy review commission covering the entire Guernsey Education Estate.
