Glow-worm named supplier of the year

Boiler maker Glow-worm has been named the 2007 Supplier of the Year by plumbing and heating merchant City Plumbing Supplies.
A poll of City Plumbing's branch managers and regional directors led to Glow-worm's name being put forward for the award.

City Plumbing Supplies managing director John Frost, presented Glow-worm's key account manager, Dave Price-Baghurst with the firm's trophy.

Frost said, 'The support we have received from Glow-worm has cascaded throughout our business - in all of our branches and at a regional and national level.'

In the last 12 months, Glow-worm, based in Belper, Derbyshire, has run 64 events with branches nationwide including go-karting, horse racing, golf and murder mystery weekends.
