Heating manufacturer Gledhill Building Products, has appointed Tricia Holland as managing director.
The hot water cylinder and tank manufacturer now has in place a national sales team, which supplies products and services direct to building merchants and installers. This fact, the firm says, has helped it weather the credit crunch storm.

Tricia Holland's predecessor Mark Foster has been appointed to the role of chief executive of Gledhill Building Products.

Mark Foster said “Our newly strengthened sales force, coupled with our 15 manufacturing centres across the UK, mean we are able to provide superior customer service on a truly national level.”

In October 2008, Gledhill Water Storage, which sold water storage units directly to major UK house builders, went into administration. As part of a restructuring effort at the Gledhill group, some of its staff were absorbed into the Gledhill Building Products business.
