Gilberts expands building services expertise

Product knowledge enhanced by practical expertise is now available to air movement specialists in the south as a result of changes at leading independent air movement specialist Gilberts Blackpool.

Mark Gallop.

The company has appointed Mark Gallop as its new area sales manager (South and South East).

Mr Gallop brings with him almost 25 years’ experience in technical sales of building services components. His technical sales expertise is supplemented with a background in practical mechanical engineering which began with an apprenticeship at the Royal Aircraft Establishment.

Gilberts sales director Ian Rogers said: “Mark brings to the table a unique skillset that can only be of benefit to our customers, existing and potential. They can benefit from his years of experience dealing with all in the chain, from the designers of the air movement strategy to the contractors implementing it on site, complemented by his own practical experience in installation and maintenance. Therefore, he can help all achieve best value by delivering solutions that meet the overall design objective whilst balancing the practicalities and vagaries of installation and use once installed.”
