Fujitsu opens training room at FSW Southampton

Fujitsu Air Conditioning UK has donated a selection of its latest, high quality equipment to one of its longstanding distribution partners, FSW.

Left to right: Peter Emanuel, FSW air conditioning product manager; Ian Carroll, Fujitsu sales and marketing director; Andrew Thomas, FSW air conditioning technical manager; and John Hobley, FSW south and south west regional manager.

FSW is a specialist air conditioning equipment supplier which also provides technical support and training from its fully equipped facility in Southampton. As a result of Fujitsu’s donation, local contractors and industry professionals can now visit the FSW training centre to learn more about the latest air conditioning systems and technology available.

Fujitsu supplied FSW with single split systems including R32, as well as an Airstage J-IIS Mini VRF and Airstage VR-II heat recovery system. In addition, there is a full selection of indoor units including cassettes, ducts, floor standing and wall mounted products, alongside Fujitsu’s full range of controls.

Ian Carroll, Fujitsu sales and marketing director, said: “We are always looking for opportunities to improve knowledge levels throughout the industry. Working closely alongside suppliers such as FSW on training initiatives like this will ensure professionals remain up to speed with the latest air conditioning technologies and systems available.”

Peter Emanuel, air conditioning product manager at FSW, said: “We are committed to training staff and air conditioning contractors nationwide, so are looking forward to continuing our strong relationship with Fujitsu.”

Andy Thomas, FSW air conditioning technical manager added: “Having the equipment installed at the training centre is very useful, not only in terms of training staff and customers, but also in enhancing our technical support services.”
