Free installer events in the East of England

SustainaBuild is offering a range of targeted, up to the minute events and networking opportunities designed to equip small and medium sized installation businesses in the construction industry to grow and access new and existing markets.

The first of three free events open to businesses in the East of England begins in Watford on 21 April. This event will focus on low carbon retrofit and will include a free guided tour of the BRE innovation park, showcasing groundbreaking green technologies in some of the world’s most sustainable buildings.

The second event in Colchester on Thursday 30 April features a visit to Worsnop House, a sheltered housing scheme owned by SustainaBuild project partners Colchester Borough Homes which has undergone a major low carbon retrofit; including gas absorption heat pumps, renewable technologies and energy efficiency measures.

The third SustainaBuild event in Cambridge on Thursday 7 May is the final opportunity for businesses to receive free, expert advice on how to get the most out of the low carbon market and take their knowledge to the next level.

All of the events will feature talks from specialists including: 2014 Green Social Housing Champion winner Paul White, Richard Ryland of Bosch, George Philips of Colchester Borough Homes and representatives from The National Energy Foundation.

Climate Energy’s in-house consultants will also be hosting talks on the Renewable Heat Incentive, an update on the Green Deal and ECO and tendering for a small business.

Places are limited so email sustainabuild@climateenergy.co.uk or call our expert team on 0208 633 9820 to book. For more information on the forthcoming events, visit http://www.sustainabuild.org.uk/Workshop/Upcoming.aspx
