Manchester United’s second most-decorated player, with 13 winners’ medals, enjoyed an exceptional 12-year career with the club back in the 1990s and is heading back to Old Trafford to meet visiting plumbers and heating engineers, tell a few tales and pose for a few selfies.

Mr Irwin will drop in for PHEX Happy Hour, where all visitors can enjoy a complimentary pint from 2:30-3:30pm, sponsored by Williams & Co. 

As well as the chance to meet a footballing legend, visitors can also book a free stadium tour of Old Trafford during their visit. 

There are plenty of new things to see at PHEX Manchester this year, with 17 new exhibitors joining the event including names such as Daikin UK, Sentinel and Wilo.

Gas Safe Register, the APHC, OFTEC and Greater Manchester Police will all deliver presentations as part of the seminar programme, designed to keep engineers up-to-date with the latest regulations and best practice.
