First MCS accredited solar installer in Salford

Jacob Eco Energy claims to be the first business in Salford and central Manchester to pass the official certification as an installer of solar photovoltaic (PV) technology.
By gaining accreditation under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), Salford-based Jacob Eco Energy's customers can claim government clean energy cash back incentives (Feed-In Tariffs) for all the renewable electricity they generate over the next 25 years.
The cash back scheme guarantees a minimum tax-free, index-linked payment of 29.3p to 41.3p per kilowatt hour for all solar PV electricity generated over 25 years, as well as an additional payment of 3p for any electricity exported to the National Grid.
