Fernox awarded Supplier of the Year

From within a category of over 20 entrants, Fernox has been recognised as Supplier of the Year at this year’s National Energy Efficiency Awards.

The accolade rewards Fernox’s commitment to maintaining close, supportive relationships with its merchant partners, as well as its dedication to energy efficient product design.

The ceremony took place at the Hilton NEC Metropole Hotel in Birmingham, as industry leaders were presented with their awards by Sir Lenny Henry.

Set up to celebrate the excellent work the energy efficiency sector is doing in implementing government policy and other worthy schemes, the annual awards provide recognition to companies at the forefront of this, as well as encouraging best practice.

Pioneering chemical water treatment and filter technology for more than 50 years, Fernox offers the plumbing and heating industry reliable, tried and tested products to maintain a central heating system’s energy efficiency. Fernox’s high quality chemical water treatments, including the F3 Cleaner, F1 Protector and F4 Leak Sealer, work cohesively to first clean the system of debris and sludge, and then inhibit to protect it from future corrosion – ensuring a central heating system operates with maximum energy efficiency.

As part of a ‘belts and braces’ approach, these treatments can then be partnered with the Fernox TF1 Filter Range, to capture and contain materials for safe disposal, combining two forms of filtration technology to ensure ultimate system protection.

Committed to promoting the importance of energy efficient products within the plumbing and heating sector, Fernox has recently partnered with the ‘Cosy Homes for Lancashire (CHiL) scheme - an energy efficiency and affordable warmth initiative. CHiL offers accessible and straightforward means of accessing grants from energy companies and other sources to fund new heating measures, insulation and renewable technologies in domestic properties. So far this year, the scheme has managed to deliver almost 570 full heating systems, all restored and protected with Fernox products.

“We are so delighted to have received this award” said Francine Wickham, global marketing director at Fernox. “Here at Fernox we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries within the industry through state-of-the-art research and development, as well as working with merchants and installers to support continued professional development and set new standards”.
