EU grants competition clearance for DDR/Baxi merger

The European Commission today (October 22) granted approval for the Dutch heating manufacturer De Dietrich Remeha Holding to merge with British competitior Baxi Holdings.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of October.

Die Dietrich Remeha will hold the majority share in the combined business. The combined business is said to have revenues of €1,800 million.
