EnviroVent launches new workshops

EnviroVent has launched a Condensation and Mould Awareness workshop to help housing associations and local authorities in becoming better equipped to deal with these issues.

Through the free workshops, EnviroVent aims to reduce the burden on the maintenance teams of social housing providers during the colder months, when problems with condensation and mould are more likely to occur.

The workshops, which are delivered by fully trained ventilation specialists, provide attendees with an in-depth insight into what causes condensation and mould and how to improve indoor air quality in tenants’ homes.

John Moss, head of social housing sales at EnviroVent, said: “Condensation and mould growth can prove to be a major headache for social housing maintenance teams in the winter months. This course is designed to provide comprehensive training on how to identify the signs of condensation and mould in the early stages, assess which solutions will solve the problem in a property, and prevent it from reoccurring.”

EnviroVent has also released a pocket sized Hero’s Guide to Defeating Condensation and Mould, which includes hints and tips for social housing providers and their tenants. All delegates that register for a place on the workshop will receive a copy of the guide and a free infrared thermometer.

In addition, the company has launched a dedicated website, www.thefanhero.com, where social housing providers can find out more about the workshops and easily book their free place. Alternatively, call 0330 119 3544 to speak a member of the team and find out more.
