Greater Manchester-based firm ENER-G has linked up with Italian manufacturer Robur to supply gas absorption heat pump (GAHP) solutions to UK consumers.
For the first time ENER-G is supplying GAHP systems manufactured by Robur, which is based in Bergamo, Italy.
'Our heat pump solution, in partnership with Robur, provides a reliable, cost-effective, and constant energy source that is highly effective for industrial, commercial and residential use,' said Andrew Hill, product manager at
ENER-G.
ENER-G's services include a free feasibility study; project design; system specification; installation and commissioning; 24-hour help desk; after-sales support; service and maintenance and flexible finance options.
The low carbon gas absorption heat pump technology removes energy from a low temperature heat source - the outside air - then upgrades it in the heat pump so that it can heat or cool air or water inside a building. The process is powered from natural gas or LPG.
Among financial advantages are energy consumption reductions of up to 50% and exemption from the climate change levy. Legislative benefits include cost savings relating to the new Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) and improved Building Energy Certificate ratings (EPC and DEC).
