Manufacturers' organisation EEF and RK Harrison Insurance Services (RKHIS), EEF's official insurance provider, have launched a new Health & Safety award as part of the fifth national Future Manufacturing Awards competition.
The EEF/RKHIS award will be given to the company that has made the most significant progress in improving the health and safety culture of the workplace by introducing new ideas or developing existing ones.
Now in its fifth year, the Future Manufacturing Awards offers manufacturers and apprentices from across the UK the opportunity to showcase their achievements across seven different award categories: business growth, people and skills, innovation, export, health and safety, environment and education.
The EEF awards are free to enter and provide many opportunities to win. The awards will be judged in five regions across the UK and regional winners will be announced at celebration events in November.
Regional winners will then compete for the national awards at a prestigious ceremony in London in January 2014.
The Awards are free to enter and are open now to all UK manufacturers. The deadline for entries is 19 July. For more information visit http://www.eef.org.uk/awards
