According to the latest monthly statistical update from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), 1,612 households had Green Deal Plans in progress at the end of December 2013, compared with 1,478 at the end of November.
In addition, the number of Green Deal assessments increased from 117,454 to 129,842. However, the 12,388 assessments in December was 21% lower than the number in November (15,599), which is believed to be due to the Christmas break.

Meanwhile, provisional figures show there were 461,726 ECO measures installed up to the end of November, with 82,131 installed in November, 14% higher than the 72,258 installed in October. Of all ECO measures installed to date, 33% were for cavity wall insulation, 31% were for boiler upgrades and 26% were for loft insulation. All solid wall insulation types accounted for 5%.

By the end of December 10,563 cashback vouchers had been issued and, of these, 8,773 vouchers had been paid (following installation of 9,153 measures) with a value of around £2.5 million. The majority of vouchers paid were in June and most have been for boiler replacements.
