On May 5th a team from Datateam is undertaking the 12-mile Tough Mudder challenge, sponsored by Fujitsu General Air Conditioning UK for the Child Brain Injury Trust.

Participating for the third year running, seven Datateam and two Fujitsu staff members will leap, wriggle and squeeze their way through ice, electric shocks, and of course copious amounts of mud at Tough Mudder.

Returning to the course will be sales executive Julian Davies, sales manager Daniel Jobson, sales director Carl Hearnden, sales manager Burim Osmani, and journal secretary Katie West and for the first time Ewelina Pilarska and Sophie Settrey will join Ismail Reqica and James Henderson from Fujitsu.

Together the team has chosen to raise money for Child Brain Injury Trust, a leading voluntary sector organisation providing non-medical services to families affected by childhood acquired brain injury across the UK. The Trust operates in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland and has a dedicated team of professional staff and volunteers who give their expertise, commitment and enthusiasm every day.

The team hopes that by working hard in its preparations, and working together to overcome each obstacle, it will be able to help raise awareness for “a fantastic organisation and a commendable cause”.
