Daikin moves offices and training centre to Birmingham Business Park

Daikin UK has opened a new 2,100sq ft office and 2,000sq ft training centre for the Midlands region in Birmingham Business Park.

The company is relocating from Spitfire Road to the larger offices in Birmingham Business Park to make its facilities more accessible to customers, trainees and employees. Situated, near the M42 and close to Birmingham International Airport and the National Exhibition Centre, the firm says the new premises provide an ideal location for its Midlands operation.

The new facilities include a large training room with a variety of HVAC equipment, including a VRV IV Heat Recovery unit,  VAM Heat Recovery Ventilation units, underfloor heating and solar  thermal panels that offer a range of training opportunities.

Daikin UK’s Birmingham branch manager, Sherin Hammad, said: “The training centre offers a great hub for the Midlands region, here at Daikin UK we are committed to giving our employees and customers the best training available with the extensive range of facilities available at the new site. Birmingham is currently undergoing a large regeneration so it is vital that there are suitably trained HVAC professionals in the area and we hope to be a big part of providing that trained workforce.”
