Daikin Europe presents interactive Hot&Cold exhibition at Milan Design Week

Daikin Europe and Fabrica, Benetton Group's communication research centre, have hosted Hot&Cold, an interactive exhibition inviting visitors to participate in an immersive laboratory of hot and cold experiences, as part of this year's Milan Design Week.
Daikin Europe presents interactive Hot&Cold exhibition at Milan Design Week
Hot&Cold provided a conceptual representation of temperature through a series of multi-sensory artistic and sculptural installations that give shape to air. The exhibition was conceived by an international team of young researchers at Fabrica for Daikin Europe. The event reflects the manufacturer's reputation for creating innovative products blending design, efficient energy use and respect for nature and the environment.

Exhibits included a kinetic installation in which moving feathers in a range of shapes, colours, and graphic patterns evoked the seasonal migration of exotic birds; and one featuring tropical plants that took shape in a series of ice compositions creating a path throughout the space.

Hot&Cold was one of the highlights of a number of events organised to celebrate this year's launch of Daikin Emura, Daikin Europe's latest air conditioning system, which is a stylish icon and authentic example of cutting-edge industrial design.

Daikin products are distributed in the UK by Daikin Airconditioning UK Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Daikin Europe NV, and Space Airconditioning plc, the largest independent Daikin distributor.
