Council consults over possible £75m Green Deal contract

West Sussex County Council is calling on contractors to consult on a possible £75 million contract to upgrade properties under the Green Deal.
The council said: 'We estimate the value of the initial work to be carried out on the properties in the first phase as up to £75 million, over three years, depending on the cost of the measures required in each household or business.

'To help inform the decision making process and to establish the potential interest from Organisations, the Council is undertaking a market consultation exercise.'

Companies have until 26 November to submit written responses to the market consultation questionnaire.

The council added: 'A number of organisations will be invited to come and discuss their submission with the Council. A cross section of suppliers will be invited.'
