Mike Lucken, Conex Bänninger's new regional technical sales manager.

With over 22 years of experience in the acr market, Mr Lucken brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business, having previously worked in various engineering and management roles for Wolseley UK, GEC Marconi, HRP and Kooltech.

Bill Barlow, business unit director for Conex Bänninger, said: “Mike’s appointment highlights our ongoing commitment to the acr sector.  He has a proven track record of delivering strong results and developing excellent relationships so I wish him every success in his new role.

“We launched our award winning >B< MaxiPro press-fit solution to the market last year to further establish our presence in the acr industry. The good news is that this innovative solution is going from strength to strength based on its ability to significantly reduce installation time, costs and health and safety risks on-site when compared to traditional brazing. With Mike on-board in the South East, our aim is to penetrate the market further and increase brand exposure on our complete acr range.”

Mr Lucken said: “There’s huge potential for Conex Bänninger in the acr sector, not just for our revolutionary >B< MaxiPro solution, but also for the K65 high pressure tube system for refrigeration applications and the >B< acr range. I was immensely pleased to be offered the opportunity to join the business and plan to assist Bill and the team by playing an important role to ensure our acr solutions become the number one fitting of choice for the industry.”
