Conex Bänninger aims to revolutionise market with press-fit solution

Conex Bänninger, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fittings, valves and accessories, is set to revolutionise the UK’s ACR market with the launch of its latest innovative press-fit solution, >B< MaxiPro.

Specially designed to manage the demands of air-conditioning and refrigeration applications, the copper >B< MaxiPro is a mechanically strong and resilient press-fit system that is quick and simple to use, providing a secure, permanent and leak-free joint and available in sizes 1/4” to 1-1/8”.

With the air-conditioning and refrigeration market currently dominated by traditional braze fittings, >B< MaxiPro will significantly reduce installation time and cost. The flame free press-fit solution also has significant health and safety benefits, eliminating the requirement of hot work permits and risk of fire, whilst removing the need of nitrogen purging.

>B< MaxiPro utilises Conex Bänninger’s three-point-press technology, whereby three presses are made one each side of the bead and one compressing the O-ring, ensuring a permanent leak-tight joint every time.

The product is available in a host of fittings types including, Straight Coupler, Reducing Coupler, Fitting Reducer, 90o Bend, 90o Street Bend, 45o Obtuse Elbow, Equal Tee and Stop End variants.

>B< MaxiPro is also approved for use with a range of refrigerants, including R-32, R-134a, R-404A, R-407C, R-407F, R-410A, R-507, R1234ze, R1234yf, R-718, R-450A, R-513A, R-448A, R-449A, R-407A, R-427A, R-438A, R-417A and R-422D.
