Colt signs louvre distribution deal

Colt International has signed a new five-year agreement with its long-standing louvre distributor ALPS.

ALPS specialises in the design and installation of louvre and solar shading solutions. It has the technical experience and expertise to provide design recommendations and value engineered solutions. The new five-year agreement will see ALPS deal with all Colt louvre projects in England and Wales, although Colt will carry out the largest projects itself.

Colt has also appointed Anthony Domment as its new technical consultant. Based in the South-west, he will be focusing on louvre, natural ventilation and solar shading.

Mr Domment has more than 13 years’ experience in the louvre industry, so is well prepared for this position, where he will be working with clients and contractors, as well as assisting with providing solutions and pricing strategies.

“We are very excited by the appointment of Anthony and the new agreement with ALPS,” said Colt’s business development director David Fitzpatrick. “This will enable us to develop a stronger support system for our clients; from initial design, right through to installation, commissioning and service.

“ALPS is the ideal business to distribute Colt’s industry leading louvre products, which are designed, tested and manufactured in the UK.”
