Colt launches new website

Colt has unveiled a new website which focuses on helping customers find the information they are looking for quickly and easily, as well as providing advice, ideas and inspiration.
The company says the new website reflects its comprehensive approach to customer service. It offers efficient navigation filtered through the customer's area of interest to help them find the quickest path to information according to their specific interest. Complementary product suggestions, project examples and broader information relating to the topic of interest are offered.

Users can also access useful advice and comment on the blog and through social media integration, lead and participate in LinkedIn Group discussions, Twitter, the company's You Tube channel, Pinterest and Flickr.

Colt carried out extensive research with architects, consultants, contractors and building owners to understand the different ways they use online resources and to get an idea of their expectations. The company also looked at what worked well in other industries, as it developed a new approach to the way it supports its customers online.

In the new website the focus has shifted from the product to the result the customer may want to achieve, for example energy efficiency, high architectural impact, or support in maintaining a design's integrity while achieving a specific function. It also offers a direct path to detailed product information for specifiers who already know what they are looking for.

In addition, customers will find useful information and advice about systems designed for specific applications or types of buildings, for example power stations, or about how to measure a building's energy saving potential.

The website can be found at www.coltinfo.co.uk
