CITB partners the Build Show

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) has joined the Build Show as an Event Partner.

Established to support training and skills in the construction industry, the CITB takes a lead role in developing training strategy and influencing supply and funding for the whole construction sector.  As part of this, the board works closely with governments, employers and training bodies in a variety of capacities – providing advice, financial support and research, as well as delivering specialist training facilities and services.

With skills shortages and the availability of labour posing serious challenges across all levels of the construction industry, training and workforce development is high on the agenda at the Build Show. The CITB will play a pivotal role in helping the show develop and refine its seminar programme, lending its considerable insight and authority to the variety of workshops, policy discussions and debates taking place throughout the three-day event.

The Build Show takes place at the NEC in Birmingham next year and brings together contractors, specifiers, builders, suppliers, housebuilders, architectural technologists and clients to network, showcase new products and discover opportunities for professional development.
