CIPHE appoints technical and education manager

Bryan Clark has joined the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) as technical and education manager.

Bryan Clark has joined the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) as technical and education manager.

He completed his plumbing apprenticeship at the Army Apprentice College, Chepstow. During his 16-year service he was involved in building military camps and hospitals in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo and Iraq. He also helped to build a school in Kenya.

He left the British Army in 2008 and began his teaching career with a role at the College of North East London, which later became the College of Haringey Enfield and North East London.

Moving on from there, Bryan became a freelance teacher at private training centres, before taking up a post at Prospects College in Basildon, Essex. Whilst at Prospects he was promoted to section head and was involved in the college becoming a CIPHE Approved Training Centre.
