CIBSE launches BIMTalk gateway

CIBSE (the Chartered Institution of Building Service Engineers) has established a freely accessible web resource to help industry bodies and professionals share knowledge and discuss Building Information Modelling (BIM).
All who are experienced in applying BIM are encouraged to share their insight and experience through the BIMTalk website to help create an independent source of concise, informative and unbiased material.

The BIMTalk open initiative is supported by BSRIA and the Landscape Institute along with contributors such as Arup, Andekan, Balfour Beatty and Hoare Lea.

BIMTalk is intended to be a non-partisan accessible resource which signposts users towards existing sources and resources, notably practical content such as case studies.

The CIBSE BIM Task Group is running its second annual BIM Use Survey. The five-minute survey will run throughout June 2013 and practitioners are encouraged to complete it at http://bit.ly/BIM2013
