Cheltenham businesses launch joint venture

Local businesses recently joined friends and family of Cheltenham-based companies Shackleton & Wintle and WJL Electrical at Malmaison Hotel to celebrate the relaunch of the two companies under new joint brand, SW&L.

Shackleton & Wintle and WJL Electrical announced a merger at the end of last year, in a move which brought two of Gloucestershire’s leading technical specialists together to expand their offering.

The new executive team comprises Shackleton & Wintle directors John Rogers, Malcolm Faulkner, and Andy Richards, and Wesley Lane of WJL. 

Mr Rogers, SW&L managing director said: “We wanted to bring together our clients and friends to celebrate an exciting future for the business and show off our new look.

“The whole team has got behind the united SW&L brand, which we feel reflects the 40-year heritage of the company and the quality of work we offer.”

Mr Lane, SW&L's electrical director added: “We’re looking forward to a continued period of growth thanks to our merger and subsequent expansion.” 

“Hopefully, our customers will be impressed by the effort we have put into our new brand and offering, which enables us to provide an integrated plumbing, heating and electrical service for homeowners, letting agents, builders and developers under one roof.”
