A team from S&S Northern from Chorley in Lancashire have signed up to do a sponsored walk, the
Rainbow Ramble to support disabled children's charity, The Legacy Rainbow House.
S&S Northern, which develops and installs gas safety products across the UK and the world, has committed to do the
Rainbow Ramble to support the charity which helps children with disabilities, genetic and life limiting conditions, and brain injuries to lead more independent lives.
The family run business that now exports all over the world is committed to charity work. Company director Steve McMahon, said: 'We have always said that as a company we should put something back into the community so when found out more about the charity we decided it would be the ideal one for us to support. We hope to support The Legacy Rainbow House long-term with other fundraising events.'
Louise Ross, the charity's community relations officer says, 'We are delighted that S&S have decided to enter a team into the Rainbow Ramble and thank the company for their fabulous support. We now have a number of teams from local businesses entering The Ramble and we would like to encourage more teams across the North West to join in the fun.'
