Simon Storey, who runs SES Plumbing and Heating Services, has done the London Marathon and the Great North Run, and is now cycling from London to Paris for charity.
The Rugby-based plumber must complete the 244 mile bike ride in three days this September to raise cash for the Stroke Association.
Storey said 'I have chosen to raise money for the Stroke Association as this charity is close to my heart because my father died in 2002 from a major stroke'.
The journey from September 4-7 involves a 90 mile trip from London to Portsmouth followed by a ferry trip to Ouistreham and then a 60 mile ride to Brenan. The final leg will be a 100 mile ride to Paris.
With a fundraising target of £1,300m, Storey has already raised just over £1,000 to date.
He added 'I'm really looking forward to this tough challenge and hope you will be generous and support me by donating via
justgiving.com'.
