Carlo Gavazzi to sponsor new Building Services Forum

Energy solutions and smart buildings specialist Carlo Gavazzi is to sponsor the new Building Services Forum.

Energy solutions and smart buildings specialist Carlo Gavazzi is to sponsor the new Building Services Forum.

The Forum, taking place on 8 February 2018 at The Building Centre, London, is a one-day ticketed event, featuring a comprehensive CPD accredited seminar programme exploring energy management; intelligent buildings; cyber security; healthy buildings, HVAC, legislation and more.

Carlo Gavazzi has one of the largest energy management and smart building ranges in the UK. Simple to install, single/three phase energy meters are easily integrated into the latest energy platforms and its 2-wire bus system for smart buildings provides a unified approach to control services such as HVAC, lighting and other building services.

Commenting on the decision to sponsor the Forum, managing director, Alan Hickman said: “Meeting the demands of intelligent buildings depends on the flexibility of the infrastructure keeping up with the pace of change. The Building Services Forum is the only event that brings industry expertise and knowledge together, providing the perfect platform for attendees to meet leading manufacturers, listen to the experts at the conference and learn about cutting edge best practice.”

Carlo Gavazzi will support the technical seminar programme with a CIBSE CPD approved presentation led by energy specialist Mark Rimell. The seminar will provide delegates with a broader knowledge and understanding of energy management, focusing on the strategies required to minimise energy consumption and improve a building’s overall performance.

Alan commented: “We are delighted to be contributing. Mark will explain how consuming less energy is about getting the technology right and how the implementation of an effective metering strategy can be used as part of any energy and CO2 reduction plan to improve a building’s performance and reduce fuel bills and carbon footprints.”
