Camfil Farr achieves new international kitemark

Camfil Farr claims to have become the first company in the UK to receive the BS EN16001 Energy Reduction Verification (ERV) Kitemark.
The company also says it is the first company worldwide to successfully transition from BS EN 1600 (the National Energy Management Standard), to the new ISO 50001 (International Energy Management Standard).

The new Kitemark aims to build on existing national and regional standards and initiatives and provide management strategies to public and private sector organisations in order increase energy efficiencies, reduce costs and improve energy performance.

Non Reynolds from the British Standards Institution (BSI) said:'Being independently certified to ISO 50001 by BSI is the ultimate assurance to Camfil Farr stakeholders that the organisation have embedded an energy management system into their organisation and that they comply with energy management best practice.'
