Camfil acquires air filtration specialists

Camfil Svenska has acquired the family owned air filtration specialist Resema. Resema was established in 1969 by Rune Sellö and has two production facilities in Sweden, in Tranås and Aneby, with sales offices in Stockholm and Malmö along with a sister company in Denmark.

'Camfil has a very strong brand and is family-owned just like us and share common values and focus on quality and sustainability. Therefore, we are a good fit in Camfil Group', says Magnus and Peter Sellö, owners of Resema.

Resema has around 65 employees and 100 million SEK in annual turnover. Resema has uniquely positioned its focus on development, production and strategic sales of optimal air filtration solutions. Thanks to high trust and filter performance Resema has built a strong market position in Sweden.

'We welcome Resema to our Camfil family and together we will strengthen our offer in the Nordic market. The synergies between Camfil and Resema in terms of competence and products will allow us to create more value for our customers,' said Torbjörn Bäck, president Camfil Svenska AB
