Kingspan Renewables GB has appointed Cameron Holroyd as managing director.

Holroyd, who brings with him 30 years' experience in the industry, will have overall responsibility for Kingspan Solar and Kingspan Hot Water Systems' businesses as well as Coates Design, one of the UK's leading consultancy practices.

Previously commercial director, Cameron has a wealth of experience in all commercial and marketing aspects of the company and his new role will see him further this by managing the Kingspan's planned expansion into additional renewable technologies and services.

'This is an exciting time for Kingspan and I look forward to not only maintaining our leading position in the industry but developing the business further despite the highly competitive market,' said Holroyd.

'The demand for renewable technologies is increasing as people are becoming more proactive about lowering carbon emissions and meeting stringent government targets. As a leading manufacturer of solar thermal and heat pump systems, as well as high-performance hot water storage solutions, we have an important role to play in helping meet these targets.'
